Traveling with children in Kyrgyzstan

Of course it’s possible to take your children with you to Kyrgyzstan. For them, living with locals and discovering the traditions and splendours of Kyrgyzstan will be a very rewarding experience. We’ll have to conceive the itinerary together depending on the children’s age and temperament to find what will best fit your family. For those who want to explore beautiful landscapes, we offer programs like “Kyrgyz Wonders” and “Around Issyk Kul Lake”. These tours include short car rides on paved roads and have no particular difficulties. These standard trips are accessible to any family, and the activities included do not have any age restrictions. Last summer we welcomed 4-year-old Alexia and her mother in our program “Perfumes of Kyrgyzstan”, a trip that combines discovery and adventure and that we adapted for the horse trek to Son Kul Lake. If your child is used to riding horses, we can organize a horseback riding tour for your family. Please note that Kyrgyzstan is a very mountainous country with high altitude passes and this can be tiring for young children. We recommend the above mentioned tours for children aged 10 and more.
